- Quit Eudora
(if it's running).
- Doubleclick
the hard drive icon.
- Doubleclick
the System Folder.
- Click once
on the Eudora Folder.
- Choose
Duplicate from the File menu.
- It's ready
to rename, so type something like Arnie's Eudora Folder,
and press Return.
- Doubleclick
this new folder.
- Click once
on Eudora Settings.
- Choose
Make Alias from the File menu.
- It's ready
to rename, so type something like Arnie's Mail, and press
Return.
- Drag the
alias to the desktop.
- Close the
Arnie's Eudora Folder (or whoever) window and the System
Folder.
- Doubleclick
the folder that Eudora is in (usually Internet Applications
or Eudora Light Folder).
- Click once
on the name of the Eudora Light icon.
- After a
second, it should let you rename it. This is the one that was
already working, so if it was checking Bob's email, type something
like Bob's Mail, and press Return. Leave that icon there.
- You can
put the other new Mail icon (the one from step 10 & 11) anywhere,
in any folder you want, or leave it where it is.
- Doubleclick
the new Arnie's Mail (or whoever) icon, and wait for
Eudora to open up.
- Go to the
Special menu, and choose Settings.
- Click Personal
Information. It will show the old settings.
- Change
the POP Account, Real Name, and Return Address
to the correct information for the second emailbox.
- Click OK.
- Now, you
can check one emailbox or the other by doubleclicking the appropriate
icon. If you check one mailbox and then want to check the other,
you need to choose Quit from the File menu before
you open the other mailbox.
