1) Click START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL
2) Choose INTERNET OPTIONS, CONNECTIONS, SETUP
3) At the get connected screen click NEXT
4) Choose the setting "I have an existing Internet account manually/
I want to setup a new account to my existing provider using my phone line. NEXT
5) Choose the top option to access using Internet service provider. That’s us!
6) Create a new dial-up connection if you don’t have one already.
7) Type a local access phone number for your area
(See your setup card and check that the number is local to you)
8) Choose use an existing connection (TCSN) if you had one already.
9) Next it will want your Username and Password.
Be sure to use all lowercase lettering with no spaces or punctuation (- or_ is O.K.)
10) When it asks if you want to change the advance settings say no.
11) Wait while the Internet software is installed
12) When it’s ready to look for your modem, click NEXT.
13) Wait while Windows detects your modem. If it finds it, click NEXT.
If it doesn’t find it just choose standard modem of the correct speed.
14) Windows will say that the modem is setup. Click finish.
15) When asked "Do you want to setup your mail account?" Click YES.
16). Choose Create a new mail account.
17). Type in your full name. Capital letters and spaces are OK. NEXT
18) Enter Email address in lower case (example bob@tcsn.net) NEXT
19) Your incoming mail server is a POP3 server inmail.tcsn.net
20) Outgoing server is outmail.tcsn.net (use all lower case lettering)
21) Log on using account name. This is everything to the left of the @ sign
in your Email address (Example if your address is bob@tcsn.net
then use bob as the account name. Password goes below account name.
If your setting up a email at a domain you own use the complete email address.
22) Choose a friendly name for your mail (inmail.tcsn.net is the default)
23) Click FINISH
24) Now let’s set your home page. START, SETTINGS,
CONTROL PANEL, INTERNET. In the space marked homepage
Type in http://www.tcsn.net click APPLY, OK.
