Setting up multiple mailboxes for Eudora Light with Windows 95...

Step 1

Make a new folder to hold the files for the new mailbox. If you installed Eudora Light into the default directory (C:\EUDORA) then the quickest way to do this is to:
1. Click START
2. Click PROGRAMS
3. Click MS-DOS Prompt
4. Type:
MD C:\EUDORA\MAILBOX2
5. Type:
EXIT

Step 2

Make an icon for the old, existing mailbox on your desktop (life just keeps getting easier!)
1. Right-click on a blank spot on your desktop.
2. Click on NEW
3. Click on SHORTCUT
4. Type:
C:\EUDORA\EUDORA.EXE
5. Click NEXT
6. Give it the name of the person who uses the first mailbox.
7. Click FINISH

Step 3

Make an icon for the new mailbox on your desktop.
1. Right-click on a blank spot on your desktop.
2. Click on NEW
3. Click on SHORTCUT
4. Type:
C:\EUDORA\EUDORA.EXE C:\EUDORA\MAILBOX2
5. Click NEXT
6. Give it the name of the person who will use the new mailbox.
7. Click FINISH

Step 4

When you run the new mailbox icon, you will need to setup the new mailbox just as you setup your original mailbox (from the setup booklet,) but with the new email address and the new person's full name. Be sure to fill out:

POP account = email address (ending in @mail.tcsn.net, instead of @tcsn.net)

Full Name = person's name

Return address = email address (the usual whatever@tcsn.net)

SMTP host = outmail.tcsn.net
